yourself why we are so confident that the AHE concept will
work? The answer is simple; we are healthcare consumers and
professionals ourselves. Pete Toone has been involved in
practice management of multiple dental specialties for most
of his professional career. Dr. Jim Weaver has been involved
in orthodontics and dentistry for almost 30 years. As
healthcare consumers and professionals, we can personally
testify to the fact that our current healthcare system is in
need of change.
AHE’s innovative
design brings peace of mind to the patients that they are
not paying too much for their healthcare. The honest truth
is that patients who pay cash at the time of service save
doctors money. This is because the doctor does not have to
pay his/her staff to verify insurance coverage or submit
insurance claims, both of which can be very costly. They
also do not have to wait for weeks or even months to get
paid for their services. As such, it is only reasonable that
doctors should offer a discount for payment at time of
services.
AHE is also a great
benefit to the doctors. In addition to the money that is
saved by not having to process insurance claims or send
billing statements, doctors can treat their patients in the
manner that they determine is appropriate. There is no
insurance or managed care system telling the treating
physician what he/she can or can’t do. It’s simple, doctors
are allowed to be doctors.
